Unit 3 There Is a Cake on the Table Story Corner 教学设计 教学目标 (一)知识目标: 1.巩固句型“What can you see? There is a …/There are…”。 2.能听、说、理解并运用感叹句型“What a big box!” 3.能理解并听、说、读单词: box, maybe, hungry;能理解并说单词mouse(mice), first,以及短语 get inside。 (二)能力目标 1.利用上下文、插图以及已有的知识基本理解故事内容。 2.运用简单的语言回答与故事相关的问题。 3.通过自己对故事的理解为故事取名。 4.能分角色表演故事。 (三)情感与文化目标 1.关注学生在学习过程中的情感体验,通过相互合作,培养学生的自信、乐观的个性和积极学习的态度。 2.利用pair work 、group work等活动形式,引导和培养学生在学习中注重合作学习的意识。 3.理解故事,对故事中的角色做出评价。 学情分析  小学四年级下册的学生已学习了一年半的英语,和三年级学生相比具有比较强的自行探究的能力,学生在观察能力、思维能力、语言表达能力方面都有了较好的提高,有着强烈的好奇心与动手操作的能力。他们喜欢在自己的探索中获取知识,喜欢在玩中学,喜欢在做中学,喜欢在想中学,喜欢在用中学。在学习的方式上,存在着单一式的学习,缺乏合作学习的习惯,不能做到与人交流,与人对话。喜欢受到表扬或赞美,喜欢发表自己的见解,有时是很幼稚的见解。 重点难点 (一)教学重点: 1. 复习巩固句型:What can you see? There is a… 2. 单词Maybe以及感叹句What a big box!在实际生活中的理解和使用。 3. 理解故事大意。 (二)教学难点: 能朗读并且表演故事。 教学过程 【导入】Step　1　Pre－story　activities 1.Greetings. 2.Enjoy the chant again and Free talk. (1)How to say “老鼠” in English? 听、说单词mouse. (2) Say a chant. 以此复习介词in 和 短语 There is… 3.Talk about the first picture on PPT (1) Look, what color is this mouse? what can you see? 引导学生说出There are 3 mice, the blue mouse, the purple mouse and the orange mouse.老师问: Which one do you like best? 然后给全班学生分组: blue mouse group, purple mouse group and orange mouse group. (2)PPT出示一个盒子,学习单词box,并有感情地练说句子: What a big box!并出示几个例子以掌握此感叹句型: What a _____ _____! (3)Predict Today, we will learn a story about the mice and the box. But, what’s in the box? Can you guess? (引导学生用句子maybe…maybe…来表达,学习单词 maybe) 【讲授】Step　2　Will－story　activities 1.Enjoy the story看图片,听故事,整体感知 T: What’s in the box finally? Let’s look and listen the whole story. And then please answer the following two questions: (1)What do the mice think of the things in the box at first?
