I spent a wonderful Spring Festival this year. I took part in many interesting activities.
Before the Spring Festival, I helped my parents clean the house and put up couplets. My parents told me that red is the lucky colour in China, and almost everyone is in red for Chinese New Year.
My uncle and aunt came from other cities to
celebrate the Spring Festival. On New Year's Eve, we had a big family dinner. We enjoyed lots of delicious dishes. I also learned how to make dumplings. My grandparents told us some interesting stories about the past. We watched the Spring Festival Gala togeth-er. I received lucky money from the elders.
Later, I visited my relatives and friends. I went to the temple fair with my classmates. We played many fun traditional games.
I'm looking forward to celebrating the next Spring
