教学重点:学生能够书写并根据自己做的相册谈论假日。

Teaching procedures 教学过程
Step 1 Brainstorming
T: Hello, boys and girls. In last class, we shared holiday fun with each other. To know more places we can go during holidays, let’s have a brainstorming. Say the names of holidays, places you know and the activities you did quickly.
【设计意图:每个学生的假日旅行地点、活动等经历都是有限的,在头脑风暴活动可以让学生了解更多的节日、旅行地和有趣的活动,同时,学生们也能通过思维碰撞产生更多火花。】
Step 2 Watch and say
T: Very good. You have many photos and you know a lot of wonderful places. Here are Tom, Mary, Lily and Linda. Do you know where they went and what they did?
You can talk about it in pairs.
(引导学生试着整体复述Tom的情况,其他三个女孩的情况用同样的方法教学,遇到生词 Victoria Harbour引导学生按发音规律朗读)
T: Well done. Let’s read them together. (呈现4人的完整介绍,齐声朗读)
Step 3 Learn to make
T: You have so many beautiful photos. Why not make a holiday album? How to make a holiday album? (先让学生说说如何做,然后教师和学生一起归纳)
First, stick your photos or pictures on Page 99. (如果学生已经准备了更漂亮的相册底板,教师应鼓励他们制作更具个性化的相册)
Next, write notes about them below the photos.
Then, write some sentences or a short introduction below the photos.
【设计意图:教师指导如何做相册前让学生先说说或设想一下,有利于培养学生的创新思维,防止做出的相册千篇一律,在教学中确实会遇到有的学生在教师让他们准备照片时就对下一步如何做有了很好的思考。】
Step 4 Read and Correct mistakes in groups
T: Show your holiday album to your group members, read and correct the mistakes for each other. (教师首先和学生讨论一下书写句子时可能犯的错误:时态错误、单词拼写错误、句子描述和照片不吻合、字母大小写以及标点符号等等。)
【设计意图:相册制作完成、写完自己的假日经历,引导学生小组合作,在组内先把所写的短文相互检查一下。小组成员善意的提醒会让学生记忆更深刻,同时也会让他们在全班同学面前的汇报更具底气。】
Step 5 Show time
T: It’s show time now. Are you ready to give a report? You can recommend one member, but I’d like to see all the group members take turns to share your wonderful trips. When listening, please take some notes because I’ll ask some questions after one group finishes.
