Language points (1) What do you think of talk shows? 1 What do you think of … ? = How do you like …? 你认为/觉得……怎么样？ 常用来询问对方对某事或某人的看法和观点。 回答：It’s great. /I don’t mind. /I can’t stand. think of 意为“认为，考虑”。of 为介词， 其后可接名词、代词或动名词作宾语。 ② show 作动词，意为“给……展示；出示”。后面常接双宾语，用法是show sb. sth.=show sth. to sb. 意为“给某人看某物”。 e.g. Can you show me your new watch? =Can you show your new watch to me? 你能给我看一下你的新手表吗? (2) I don’t mind them. mind /maɪnd/ v. 介意；对（某事）烦恼 mind在句中作动词，常用在疑问句或否定句中。 后面接名词、代词或动名词。 e.g. We don’t mind giving them a hand. 我们不介意帮助他们。 (3) can’t stand stand /stænd/ v. 忍受；站立 e.g. I couldn’t stand the boys making so much noise. 我受不了男孩们发出这么多噪音。 stand 作“忍受”讲时，用法如下： · stand sth./sb. 忍受某物/ 某人 · stand doing sth. 忍受做某事（常用于否定句和疑问句） · can’t stand 无法忍受 5、 强化记忆 1.
