Language points (1) Where did you go on vacation? vacation 相当于holiday。vacation 多用于美式英语，holiday 多用于英式英语。 vacation 的常用短语： ① go on vacation 去度假 （强调动作） ② be on vacation 在度假 （强调状态） ③ take a vacation 休假 【针对训练】 I’m going to visit the Forbidden City this summer vacation. (2) Did you go with anyone? （高频）anyone /'eniwʌn/ pron. 任何人 anyone 是由“any + one”构成的复合不定代词，相当于anybody，常用于疑问句和否定句中。 anyone 指“任何人”，后面一般不接of，作主语时，谓语动词用第三人称单数形式。 any one 指某些人或物中的“任何一个”，强调个别的数量，后面一般接of 短语。 e.g. I didn’t see anyone in the street. 我在大街上没有看到任何人。 如果用在肯定句中，则表示“无论谁，随便哪个人”。 e.g. Anyone who breaks the school rules will be punished. 任何违反校规的人将会受到惩罚。 You may take any one of these books. 你可以拿这些书中的任何一本。 【针对训练】 —Did ____ help them finish the work? —No. They finished it by themselves.
