Ask some questions to lead students to predict the main idea of the conversation. 2. Watch and answer. Show the questions on the PPT. 3. Teach the conversation of Picture 1. Play the cartoon. Help students understand the words “outside” and “cold”.Teach the sentence structures. 4. Teach the conversation of Picture 2 and 3. Play the cartoon. Use the pictures and the actions to help students understand the word “hot” and the sentence “Be careful!” 5. Read and act. Play the recording and let students practice the dialogue in groups. Practice 1. Fill in the chart. Show the chart and the answers on the PPT. 2. Let’s play. (1) Make a demonstration. (2) Let students work in pairs to practice.
