( 天津市第十届普 教系统青年教师 教学基本功大赛 ) 初中学段英语学科参赛教学设计 第一课时 课题:M8 Accidents 教材:外研版出版社八年级上册第八模块 教学课题:Module 8 Accidents Unit1 While the lights were changing to red, a car suddenly appeared. 项目 设计内容 备 注 课时 第 1 课时 课 型 Listening and speaking 教具 电子白板 教学内容 本单元的对话是由詹姆斯老师亲眼所见的一起交通事故引出的。通过詹姆斯老师对事故的描述,对话自然地导入了过去进行时这一语法项目。通过学习描述可能发生在学生身边的突发事件,不但能提高学生的学习热情,也有助于提高学生的安全意识以及应对突发事件的能力。 本单元是一个对话,作者用生动、形象的语言描写了这场突发的交通事故,有利于学生对对话的理解。 学情分析 学生已具备一定的词汇量和阅读能力,并在八上七模块已学过过去进行时,本课的话题贴近学生的生活,容易开展教学活动,但学生层次不一,缺少有关话题的词汇,所以对任务的完成有一定的难度,通过本课学习,让学生掌握有关事故的词汇,培养学生的听、说能力。 预习任务 预习本课词、句型和语法知识,并搜集有关事故的相关资料。 课程资源 通过网络资源获取有关交通、事故的视频和图片。 教学目标 语言能力 通过学习和操练交通事故相关的语言知识如:accident, side by side, fall off, when..., while...等能够听懂有关道路安全的内容,并且在特定的语境中,理解 “while”(与此同时和比较)的语法意义,进行口头表达。 文化意识 通过分析事故产生的原因,给出建议,制作宣传海报唤起学生的规则意识和安全意识,同时呼吁更多的人注意交通安全,珍惜生命,培养学生的社会责任感。 思维品质 观察过去进行时态的句子,归纳过去进行时的结构,锻炼学生观察和归纳,由特殊到一般的能力。 学习能力 基于新课标对于八年级的要求,学生通过自主和合作学习,能够进行有效的交际、信息处理,从整体上把握目标语言。 重点 while在时间状语从句中表示“与此同时和对比的”的语法含义。 难点 能运用过去进行时分析事故产生的原因。 教学方法 任务型教学法、小组合作教学法 Steps Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Purposes Step1 Warming-up Lead in Show the students some pictures about accidents and ask some questions. Introduce the people in the picture to students and ask some questions about it. 2. Ask students to work in pairs to talk about the accident. 3.
