Step 2 Work on 1a-1b 1.Present some pictures of activities,and let the students say the phrases. 2.Match the activities with the time of day in 1a. 3.Check the answer like this: T:When do students usually do homework? Ss:They usually do homework at a quarter past three in the afternoon. Step 3 Work on 1c-1d 1.Lead the students to look at the phrases in 1c and read the activities together. 2.Ask the students to listen and circle the activities they hear. 3.Check the answers. 4.Get the students to listen again and try to write the times next to the activities they circled in 1c. 5.Check the answers with the whole class.
