While-teaching (1) (ppt 4-5) Learn new words. Ans then listen and read the dialogue together. (2) (ppt 6) Read pictures and sentences, match them together into correct sequence with first, second, then and finally. (3) (ppt 7-8) Listen to and read the steps once together; then retell the sequences with the help of hints and pictures. 3. Post-teaching (1) (ppt 9) Discuss: Look at Kitty’s iced fruit punch. What can you see in the fruit punch? Look at the outside of the glass. What can you see? (2) (ppt 10) An experiment: add salt into water; then heat it. What symptom can you expect? (3) Homework: a. Recite all the new words and text. Copy new words. b. Write down the steps of making one cool drink in summer. Materials: computer, ppt, Oxford English book. 1. Warm up (1) Do dictation (new words and sentences learned in the previous lesson). (2) (ppt 2-3) water can be in different forms. Let’s think about these questions to see the changeable side of water. 2. While-teaching (1) (ppt 4-5) Read scrambled sentences of making a paper snowman; then rearrange them into proper order; read aloud once together. Try to retell the steps.
