本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语2 基础模块》中第一单元的读写((Reading and writing)板块,要求学生能通过阅读文章,熟悉并掌握介绍人物生平的传记类文章的文体特征及语言特点,
学情分析
通过听说环节,学生已经掌握了基本的房间预定、目的地景点问询、旅游产品推介等方面的表达用语,本节课则用“为什么人们要去旅游”这一思路打开话题,引出徐霞客的生平传记类文章,激发学生学习兴趣,培养思维能力。进而通过不同的任务型阅读,培养学生提炼中心思想、找关键信息、并得出论断的综合阅读能力。最后在充分理解阅读文本的基础上,通过写作中的两大人物对比,拓展学生的文化视野。让学生感知历史名人的伟大魅力以及他们对于人类文明的助推作用,激发学生树立远大的志向,并敢于为之付出努力。

Lead in
1. Have a dictation about words and phrases:guide,on-the-way,coach,province,marvelous,dense,vegetation,scenic spot,be famous for,ethnic culture.
2. Check the dialogue they prepare for homework.
Remember the last period to lead to the new lesson.
通过复习单词、检查对话的方式导入本节阅读主题,为后面的活动做铺垫。

Pre-reading
1. Think and discuss
Ask question:“Why do people travel?”“Because I want to ...,”
2. Conclude and write down.
Play video to show other idea about the reason why people should travel.
