Section B (2a-2c) 1、 教学内容 本节课教学内容为新目标英语Go For It 七年级下册第五单元Section B的短文，主要话题是Animals( 动物)，功能项目是Describe animals and express preferences. 二、教学目标 1. 知识目标： 学生能正确认读，理解以下词汇及短语: save, flag, forget, place, water, danger, tree, kill, over ,get lost, be in (great) danger, cut down, (be) made of, one of, a symbol of. 2. 能力目标：1).学生能通过快速阅读提高归纳语篇主题的能力. 2）.学生能熟练运用构建思维导图的阅读策略。 3. 情感目标：学生能够获悉大象在泰国的相关文化和大象的现实处境，并唤起学生珍惜并保护濒危动物的意识。 三、教学重难点 1. 教学重点：本课中的重点词汇及句型。 2. 教学难点：通过阅读训练，提高学生们的综合阅读能力。 四、教学方法 任务型教学法和小组合作教学法。 五、教学活动 Pair Work and Team Work 六、课时安排 1课时（45分钟） 七、教学过程 Step1 Warming up and leading in  1). Review: Free talk Each group talks about an animal. Let students know the elephants are in great danger , because people cut down many trees and kill them for ivory. Listening Lead in the website article , let students listen and find the best title for it (Let’s Save the Elephants.).
