Ask the Ss to revise the important parts of the last class. 2. Shows a picture of the school, and describes it with there be sentences 3. Ask Ss to describe pictures with the sentences on the blackboard Step 2 Grammar focus Definition: There be 句型表示某地有某人，某地存在某物。 Structure： 肯定句，There be ＋ … 否定句，There be not ＋ … 一般疑问句，Be there ＋…? 特殊疑问句，How many…＋ are there ＋地点？ How much…＋ is there ＋地点？ 注意：如果“be”后的主语是由 be连接的两个或两个以上的名词，那么be的形式要遵循“远亲不如近邻”的就近原则。也就是说，“be”的形式是由与它最近的那个名词来决定的。若那个名词是单数或不可数名词，就用is，若是复数就用are。 Step 3 practice: Grammar focus 1) Ask Ss to look and write in Ex16. 2) Memory Game: What’s in the pictures? 3) Ask Ss to talk and guess in Ex17. 4) Ask Ss to talk and find in Ex18.
