U7让步、结果和目的状语从句 Part 1【让步状语从句】 1. 概念:表示即使出现从句中的情况,主句动作任然会发生,有“退一步说……”的意思。 Eg. I will try my best, though I may fail. Though he did not have much money, he was still happy. 2. although和though引导的让步状语从句 although和though的意思是“尽管”、“虽然”、“即使”,一般情况下二者可以互换。在口语中,though比较常用,although比though更正式一些。 Eg. He studied so hard that he made great progress. Peter is so young a boy that he cannot go to school. (2) such...that引导:意思与so...that相同。但由于such是限定词,所以只能修饰名词或名词词组。 构成such +(形容词)可数名词复数/不可数名词 +that 或者 such + a/an +(形容词) + 可数名词单数+that Eg. It is such nice weather that I would like to go to the beach.
