Ability goals   a. To develop the students’ basic reading skills by skimming, scanning and careful reading.   b. Help the students learn how to describe the character “the little tramp” acted by Charlie Chaplin. 3. Emotional goals   Help the students know the importance of humour and be optimistic and determined when they are in trouble.
