Ask Ss about weddings they attended and the impressive parts of the wedding.
Q1:Have you ever attended parties?,Q2:What impresses you in a party?
教师通过派对图片迅速引起学生兴趣,并积累词汇,为后面阅读铺垫。
学生能否头脑风暴出婚礼相关词汇如bride, bridegroom, ceremony, party 等。

1) What does the author think of the wedding? Do you think Tami’s description of the wedding impressive?
2)Underline the words, phrases or sentences that make the writing impressive.
2. Guide them to find out it is the rich adjectives and proper details that make the description impressive.
3) Besides the author wrote about what she saw, from what other aspects did the author show us the wedding?
