Unit 3 Welcome to our school! Reading (I) 一、教学目标 1. 掌握本节课重点词汇:show sb. around sp, in front of 2. 掌握本节课重点句型:Your school looks beautiful. The playground is so big. My classroom is on the ground floor. The classrooms are clean and bright. Let me show you around. 3. 通过读,获取Millie学校的信息。 4. 用英语介绍校园内的各类设施。 4. 用适当的语言向他人介绍校园环境。 二、教学重点及难点 重点:引导学生通过阅读,归纳介绍校园信息的句型和要点。 难点:帮助学生记住并使用描述学校的名词和形容词来介绍自己的学校。 三、教学过程 Step 1 Warming-up Ask Ss to have a free talk by showing the following questions: 1. How many buildings are there in your school? 2. What places does your school have? 3. Do you like your school? Why or why not? 【设计意图】让学生谈论自己的学校的建筑以及谈论对学校的感觉,引出话题,又为接下来的学习做了铺垫。 Step 2 Pre-reading Introduce the places in the school and revise the vocabulary. Then ask them to write the words about Millie’s school. Then guide them to talk about the activities in school. 【设计意图】让学生介绍学校的不同教室来复习词汇,并结合图片复习上一环节的单词,借助图片引导学生谈论学校的活动,起到承上启下的作用,自然过渡到阅读中。 Step 3 While-reading 1.
