Suggested answers: map, key, jacket, quilt, cup, ruler, pen, orange Step 2 Presentation & Practice (1a-1c) 1a · Ask Ss to look for the small letters in the picture for their big letters. Check the ones they can find. After completing 1a, write the letters Aa-Rr on the board. Have Ss work in pairs to determine which letters are not in the picture. Look at the speech bubbles and the item labels to determine which letters are missing. Answers: The missing letters are b, d, f While-listening 1b · Ask Ss to listen to the recording and repeat each sentence. Help Ss use full sentence answers. Start from one-word answers and add words.
