Unit9 Great cities of the world 【课标要求】 1.学习有关本级话题范围的单词和习惯用语。 2学生能在情境中就所学话题进行简单的表达和交流。 3.学生能根据拼读规律，读出简单的单词。 【教材分析】 《英语 六年级上册》第三模块以“Out and about”为核心话题，分为“Seeing a film”“Visiting museums”和“Great cities of the world”三个单元，主要谈论外出活动和计划，与学生的实际生活息息相关。本单元Great cities of the world是该模块中的第9单元，学生对国内的一些著名城市会有所了解，但是对于世界上其它国家的著名城市会相对比较陌生。本模块的主题与五年级上册Module3的主题相同,前几册教材中已学的旧知可整合运用于本单元的内容有： 三年级下册 Module 3 Unit 3 Sounds What can you hear/see? How long will we stay in Sanya? 本单元由Listen and say,Look and learn,Look and read,Ask and answer,Think and write,Learn the sound, Culture corner组成，以对话，语篇，练习等形式呈现。Listen and say 是MsGuo与Peter和Kitty之间关于城市的位置和相互距离的对话。核心语言主要是How long does it take to get to … from … by …? It takes about ….。Look and read主要介绍了三个城市Beijing, Tokyo, London的重要性、景点和美食等，体现了不同城市的不同特色。Ask and
