Step 2 Work on 3a 1.Help the students to read and understand the three questions in 3a. 2.Let the students quickly read the passage about Wei Fen and answer the three questions. 3.Check and discuss the answers to the questions. Step 3 Work on 3b 1.Read the instruction in 3b. 2.Ask the students to read aloud the passage in 3a. 3.Get the students to work by themselves and complete the sentences with what Wei Fen learned from watching movies. 4.Check the answers with the whole class. Step 4 Work on Grammar Focus 1.Ask the students to read aloud the sentences in the grammar frame until they can read them fluently. 2.Ask the students to find out the preposition phrases “by...”. 3
