Step1 Introduction
So far, we have learnt a lot about robots, and we have also discussed the advantages and disadvantages of having a robot. If you want to buy a robot, what do you look for in a robot? Now let’s complete the following questionnaire: your ideal robot.
Step2 Presentation
1. Ask students to read the seven different sections of the questionnaire. Ask students to raise their hands if they have any questions.
2. Ask students whether they agree or disagree with Daniel’s answers. If students disagree, ask them to justify their answer. I don’t agree with Daniel on question X because…
3. Ask and answer
(1) When did Daniel buy the robot?
(2) Where is the robot shop?
(3) What is the robot model number?
(4) What is Daniel unhappy with first?
(5) How long did its batteries last?

Step3 Exercise
:1.Ask students to read the letter on their own.
2.Encourage students to complete the letter on their own
3.Ask students to use the questionnaire they completed for the extension activity on page T31 as a basis for completing their own complaint letters in part C.
