新高考命题探究
读后续写既考查考生对所学语言知识的运用能力,又考查考生的发散思维能力和创造力。该题型要求考生首先要读懂已有信息,不仅能读懂字面含义,还要理清文章的脉络。续写短文时,考生需要明白故事的发展进程、前因后果、地理位置变化、人物特征和情感等。在此基础上,考生顺着文章的思路,根据线索,发挥想象,对其后的情节进行合理预测,并用英语表达出来。

一、要着重培养阅读理解能力和对语篇结构的把控能力
通过阅读把握故事情节、人物特点和语言特点。通过理解分析语篇结构,理清故事发展脉络和关键信息,预测故事的发展方向,提炼语篇的主题。
二、要培养发散思维和创造性思维,展现创造力与想象力
续写内容需要创作,故事角度要新颖,即从常人容易忽视的角度去构思故事,让故事出乎意料之外,又在情理之中。要注意所构思内容的合理性,即人物性格、情节要保持一致,不能有矛盾。故事情节不能违背生活现实、情感现实逻辑。
三、要树立续写衔接意识
考生在续写过程中要着重注意以下内容之间的衔接:续写内容与原文的逻辑衔接、续写内容与所给段首句的衔接、续写第一段段末与第二段段首的衔接以及续写段落内容之间的衔接。

五、避免两个雷区
1.情节设计要符合生活实际和文章逻辑,避免太过离奇。
2.叙述力求精炼、生动、连贯,对话不要太多,书面化的长句不宜太多。
