Teaching Plan of U9L1 On Your Bike Contestant: Period one: Reading Ⅰ. Analysis of Teaching Material This lesson is the first period of the first lesson in Unit 9. It is a report about the return of the white bikes in Amsterdam. In this lesson, the developing process of bikes, which describes its appearance, disappearance and return, is mainly dealt with. The whole passage is well-organized and easy to read. Thus, the teaching point should also be laid on helping students discover, analyze and solve problems after reading. Ⅱ. Teaching Aims Knowledge and skills 1．To make the students know the whole developing process of the white bikes in Amsterdam. 2. To develop students' reading ability：To predict the content by the title and to get the main idea and the detailed information by skimming and careful reading. 3. To develop students' communicative and practical ability by discussing what advice they will give if Huainan uses “white bikes”. Process and methods 1. Lead in the
