Enjoy a short video about rules, and get ready for new class.
Then review what the rules are in our school, list at least five rules. Present rules in our daily life.
Step 1
Presentation:
Look at the pictures and talk about what we often do at home, lead students to learn the key expressions in this way.
Present pictures about Dave, try to lead students to talk about them with the key expressions.
1a: Read the rules in the chart in 1b. Then match the pictures [a-h] with the rules.
1b: Listen and put an × for things Dave can’t do and a√ for things he has to do.
1c: Listen again. Write when Dave has to follow the rules in the chart in 1b. Choose from the phrases in the box.
Listen again and fill in the blanks with can’t, have to or must.
