1、 时间的表达法
1、顺读法:“钟点+分钟”
按时、分的顺序用数字直接表示整点数字后加上o'clock.
4:00 four o’clock
7点15分 seven fifteen
6:40 six forty
2、分钟+past+小时 “几点过几分”
12:05 five past twelve
8:25 twenty-five past eight
11:10 ten past eleven
3、分钟+to+小时 “差几分几点”
(当分钟大于30时,用to表示“差几分钟到下一个钟点”。to是“差”的意思。)
10:50 ten to eleven

频度副词用来表示做某事的频率。他们和动词的位置有何关系?
when & what time引导的特殊疑问句
when 和 what time 都可以用来询问时间,二者在使用时要注意以下几点:
询问做某事的具体时刻(钟点)时,两者可以互换使用。如:
— What time/When do you go to school?
— I go to school at six forty-five.
询问钟表上表示的具体时间时,只能用what time,不能用when。如:
— What time is it by your watch now?
— It’s seven twenty.
询问事情发生的年份、月份、日期以及上午、下午或晚上等非钟点性时间时,只能用when。如:
— When do you go to work on Monday?
— At 7:00.
2、 频度副词
1. 频度副词的含义
表示事情发生频率的副词称为频度副词。常见的频度副词有always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly, never等。它们表示的频率由高到低如下图所示:

频度副词通常位于be动词、助动词、情态动词之后,实义动词之前。 其中,sometimes可以放在句首、句中或句末。
例:她并不经常锻炼。
She ________ _______ do exercise.
我通常9点半洗淋浴。
I ________ _______ a shower at nine thirty.
巧记:频度副词在句中的位置
频度副词很重要,句中位置要记牢;
放在实义动词前,助、be、情态动词后;
sometimes最活跃,句首、句中、句末均可找。

对频度副词提问,用how often,意为“多久一次”。
例:——你姐姐多久打一次篮球?
——她从不打篮球。

—She never plays basketball.
