1.位移动词的进行时表示将来
当句子涉及确切的计划、明确的意图或为将来安排好的活动时, 常见的用现在进行时表将来的动作的动词有:come, go, arrive, leave, start, return, meet, get, fly, take等位移动词。
The guest is leaving by train tonight.
那位客人今晚坐火车走。
The boys are starting school on Monday.
男孩子们星期一就要开学了。
2.非位移动词的进行时表示将来
现在进行时表示将来除使用位移动词外,也可使用某些非位移动词,如do, buy, meet, have, play, publish等,此时句中一般要有表示将来的时间状语。
The young man is meeting his girlfriend this afternoon.
这个年轻人今天下午要去见他的女朋友。
What are you doing next weekend?
下个周末你准备干什么?
She is buying a new bike soon.
她不久后将买一辆新自行车。
1.will/shall do
will/shall do表示单纯的将来时, 是对未来事情发生的一种“预见性”。
I will go to visit him tomorrow.
我明天要去看他。
I shall be in touch with you again shortly.
我很快再和你联系。
2.be going to do
be going to do表示打算最近或将来要做的事情;还可以表示说话者根据现在的迹象或征兆“预测”不久即将发生的事情。
We are going to call her this evening.
我们打算今晚给她打电话。
[易混辨析]
be going to/will
① be going to表示个人的计划、打算和意图或表示按计划或安排将要发生的事。will用来表示临时决定。
②用于条件句时, be going to表将来, will表意愿。
If you are going to make a journey, you'd better get ready for it as soon as possible.
如果你想去旅行, 你最好尽快准备。
Now if you will take off your clothes, we will fit the new clothes on you in front of the mirror.
现在如果你脱下衣服,我们就在镜子前给你穿上新衣服。
3.be to do
be to do表示按计划或安排将要发生的动作;表示注定会发生的动作;表示命令、禁止、可能性等。
You are to be back by 10 o'clock in the evening.
你必须在晚上十点之前回来。
His plan is to be a failure.
他的计划注定要失败。
4.be about to do
be about to do表示就要/正要做, 指眼前的将来, 常用于“be about to do...when...”句型, 意为“正要做……这时……”。
We are about to start.
我们就要出发了。
I was about to go to bed when the telephone rang.
我正要上床睡觉,这时电话响了。
5.一般现在时表示将来, 有两种情况。
(1)常用于表示按计划、按规定或是按时刻表示将要进行的未来动作, 仅限于一些位移动词,如go, come, leav
