三、suppose 常见用法
(1) suppose+宾语+宾语补足语
We all suppose him clever.
我们所有的人都认为他很聪明。
What makes you suppose him to be connected with him?
你怎么会认为他与他有联系呢?
(2) suppose+that从句,表示“猜测,认为”。若从句是否定意义,用法同think和believe,应将否定前移到主句中去。
I don’t suppose he will agree. 我想他不会同意的。
