2021届巴蜀中学新高考英语 语法基础复习讲义[45] 让步、时间状语从句解读 （总目录见文末） 什么是让步状语从句？         让步状语从句就是表示让步关系的状语从句。所谓让步关系一般是指“尽管...(却)...”，“即使...(也)...”等有“退一步”之意的逻辑关系，常出现在词组、短语与分句之间。常见的引导词有：though, although, despite, in spite of, even if, even though, as, while, whether...or..., no matter+疑问词, 疑问词+ever, 以及regardless of等。 值得注意的是though和although不能与but连用，但可以与still和yet连用。 具体示例如下：（加粗字体是让步状语，下划线部分是让步状语从句，斜体字是引导词，红色字体是谓语动词。） 例1：参照：Though small, the room is quite pleasant. 例句：Though the room is small, it is quite pleasant. 例2：参照：Although famous, Oscar lives simply. 例句：Although Oscar is famous, he lives simply. 例3：参照：Despite having eaten a hamburger, the boy still feels hungry. 例句：Despite the boy has eaten a hamburger, he still feels hungry. 例4：参照：In spite of the heavy rain, the policeman is working at the intersection. 例句：In spite of it is raining heavily, the policeman is working at the intersection. 例5：参照：Having met all the requirements, yet she didn't get the job. 例句：Even if she met all the requirements, yet she didn't get the job. 例6：参照：Even though in the early morning, there are many people on the subway. 例句：Even though it is in the early morning, there are many people on the subway. 例7：参照：Though seemingly happy, Olivia felt lonely deep down. 例句：Happy as Olivia might seem, she felt lonely deep down. 例8：参照：While a Thai, James speaks Chinese well. 例句：While James is a Thai, he speaks Chinese well. 例9：参照：That is the fact whether believable or not. 例句：That is the fact whether you believe it or not. 例10：参照：In spite of the nice weather, we have to study in the classroom. 例句：No matter how nice the weather is, we have to study in the classroom. 例11：参照：In spite of all my efforts, the baby still kept crying. 例句：Whatever I did, the baby still kept crying. 例12：参照：Regardless of the rumours, I trust you. 例句：Regardless of what people say, I trust you. 什么是时间状语从句？         时间状语从句就是表示时间的状语从句。常见的引导词有：when, while, before, after, since, until, as soon as, the moment, the minute......等等。 具体示例如下：（下划线部分是时间状语从句，加粗字体是时间状语，
