Inversion

Inversion is the changing of the order of the words in a sentence. When we use inversion, we put all or part of the predicate before the subject.
Usually, we put the expression at the beginning of the sentence to emphasise what we're saying. It makes our sentence sound surprising or striking or unusual.
Now let’s read more examples.
