【第一课时】
【教学目标】
1.通过Listen and say引人并教学Look and learn的生词,结合核心单词,帮助学生介绍地球概貌。
2.通过反馈练习,引导学生初步运用核心句型,针对保护地球的环保行动展开讨论。

1.词汇:Earth, forest, ocean, land, part, rubbish, so many

【教学过程】
I. Pre-task preparations
1.播放一段介绍地球地貌的短片,引出本节课的话题。
T: Look! What is it?
S1: It's the Earth.
T: Yes. What do you see in the video? What's on the Earth?
S2: I see forests.
S3: I see land.
S4: I see oceans.
T:Yes. Today we are going to learn more about the Earth.
出示课题The Earth,让学生跟教师朗读单词Earth。
2.引导学生发散思维,说说自己对地球的认识,可以先小组讨论,再全班汇总信息。
T: What do you know about the Earth?
S1: The Earth is round.
S2: There are animals, people and plants on the Earth.
S3: There is a lot of water on the Earth.
II. While-task procedures
1.播放Listen and say的多媒体动画或录音,在黑板上贴上地球的图片,并标出蓝色、绿色、褐色部分,让学生找出对话中所提到的这些都是什么。
