【教学过程】
I. Pre-task preparations
1.提问what do we get from trees? 和What do we use wood for? 让学生思考并回答。
2.用多媒体动画展示一棵树的成长过程和树的用途,要求学生围绕Trees are very important. 发表看法,或与同桌交流。
II. While-task procedures
1.学生四人一组,根据Think and say的图片和范例展开讨论,说一说木头的用途。然后各组派一名代表作口头报告。
2.出示下列图片和单词,让学生选词填空完成句子,然后核对答案。

There are many forests on the Earth.
Many birds live in these forests. They live in trees.
Many animals live in the forests, too. Leaves, flowers and fruit of the trees are their food.
