I. Pre-task preparations
1.学生集体朗读Listen and say的课文,也可以让学生介绍空气,为后续学习做铺垫。
T: We know that air is very important to us all. Can you tell me why it's important?
S1: It keeps things high in the sky.
S2: It keeps people, animals and plants alive. (展示一些关于空气污染的照片,引起学生的共鸣。)
T: Yes. Air is so important to us. Look at these photos. Do you think the air is dirty?
2.通过提问引入Say and act的对话,导入课文。
T: What happens to the air? Ben and Kitty are talking about it. Let's join them. (在学生听录音之前,教师设问,让学生带着问题听对话。)
