【第一课时】
【教学目标】
1.通过Listen and say,帮助学生了解空气的特征和作用,并体会核心句型的用法。
2.学生完成Make and say的小手工,通过演示降落伞下降的过程,体会空气的作用。

【教学过程】
I. Pre-task preparations
1.以猜谜语为引子,激发学生兴趣,然后播放Listen and say的录音或多媒体动画,引入单元话题。
T: Today we are going to start our lesson with a riddle. It is a very long one. Please listen carefully and guess what it is. (play the recording of “Listen and say”)What is it?
Ss: Air.
T: (write air on the blackboard) Yes, it is air. Today we are going to talk about it.
2.教师提出问题,让学生联系已学的知识说说对空气的认识。
T:What do you think of air?
S1: Air has no color.
S2: Air has no smell.
S3: Air is important to people.
S4: ...
T: Yes. We can't see it, but we can feel it. Air is important to all living things.
II. While-task procedures
1.播放Listen and say第一段的录音,让学生模仿朗读。然后提问,在黑板上写下问题。
