What's the date today? 3．情感目标:鼓励学生大胆开口说英语,与人沟通. 【教学重难点】 1．询问表达他人,自己及父母家人的生日日期. 2．理解序数词的构成方法,掌握日期的表达方式. 3．就生日聚会这一话题分角色表演对话. 【教学准备】 录音机,单词卡,年历和课件. 【教学过程】 1．Review （1）复习单词:January, February, March, April, May, June. （2）板书课文课题:Lesson 4 When's your birthday? 2．Presentation （1）引出新句型及其回答:When's your birthday? My birthday is on March 4th. What's the date today? It's May first. （2）引出学习单词:thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth, sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth, twentieth, twenty-first, thirtieth, thirty-first. 并学习句型及其回答: What's the date today? It's October 22nd. （3）学习基数词与序数词的用法区别: 基数词:表示数量,如1,2,3,… 序数词:表示顺序,如第一,第二,第三… 序数词的构成:一般在基数词后加th,如:four(四)→fourth(第四) 但第一,第二,第三例外,它们分别是:first, second, third. 3．Let's practice （1）教师拿出事前准备的年历,逐月用英语介绍,让学生初步接触了解12个月份的英文表达方法. （
