【教学目标】
本课时的教学目标是学习Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.要求学生开动脑筋巧记单词,并结合所给句型灵活运用这几个单词.
【教学重难点】
1.正确拼写从星期一至星期日这七个英语单词.
2.理解What day is it today?
【教学准备】
1.图片,声音,课件,以及本课时的单词卡准备.
2.做游戏用的标有星期的圆盘,以及单词卡.
3.相关媒体的播放设备,如录音机,投影仪,幻灯片等.
【教学过程】
Ⅰ.Presentation(新课呈现)
教师结合课件的图片和情景,提问:"What day is it today?"引出有关星期的词汇.
Ⅱ.Let's play(趣味操练)
1.Let's play
学生手持标有星期的圆盘,随意转动指针,根据指针停下的位置用句型"What day is it today? It's…"进行交流,巩固所学新单词.还可加入询问和回答课表的句子,如What do we have on Monday? We have…
2.Let's sing
学生看教学VCD,学唱歌曲"Days of the Week". Monday is the first day of the week. Then comes Tuesday. Let's take a peek. Wednesday, then Thursday. I like those days. But Friday is great in so many days. Saturday is fun. We like to play. Sunday is a time to rest. What do you say? Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday!
3.Consolidation and extension(巩固与扩展)
(1)让学生根据个人喜好设计英文课程表,在班级进行展示.
(2)让学生参照Let's Play部分说一说,做一做,猜一猜.还可让学生报出某天的课程,让大家猜一猜是星期几.
