【教学思路】
本单元的话题是社区,本课用叙述的形式呈现了Li Ming, Jenny, Danny和Andy等小伙伴在公园里的所见所闻.从语法的角度来说是进一步学习现在进行时的陈述句形式来描述他人正在进行的活动.
【教学目标】
1.知识,技能目标
(1)能在文本语境中听懂,会说,认读,拼写单词people, women;能听懂,会说,认读单词和短语:themselves, enjoy themselves, follow, come over, lots of并能结合句型灵活运用.
(2)能听懂,会说,认读句型:"Some women are singing Beijing Opera near the lake. Some old men are doing Taijiquan under the tree."能用现在进行时的陈述句形式描述他人正在进行的活动.
2.情感目标:让学生初步了解中西方社区的不同,培养学生的跨文化交际能力.
【教学重难点】
能听懂,会说,认读句型: "Some women are singing Beijing Opera near the lake. Some old men are doing Taijiquan under the tree."能用现在进行时的陈述句形式描述他人正在进行的活动.

Ⅰ.Warm-up
1.师生口语交际,复习前面学过的核心句型.
如:Where do you live?
Do you like your stay in...?
What's in your neighborhood?
2.两人一组运用上述核心句型自由交际.
Ⅱ.Presentation
1.快速阅读文本.
(1)T:Where are the people? 教授people
(2)S: They're in the park.
(3)T:Are they having lots of fun? 教授lots of
(4)S: Yes, they are.
(5)T: They are enjoying themselves.教授themselves
