Teaching procedures

Step 1  Warming up & Revision

1. Greet the class.

2. Let’sdo

3. Oral communication.Talk about your school or your day.

4.Read through the 4 phrases. ( together / in groups)

5.Show the picture and ask some questions, then ask some Ss to combine the sentences together

  It’s 6:30. It’s time to ….    It’s 7:00. It’s time to….

  It’s 9:35. It’s time for ….   It’s 11:10. It’s time for….

5. Stress the key points on the sentences It’s time for + noun. & It’s  

   time to + verb.

Step 2  Presentation & Practice

1. Let’s play.

A. Show the picture of Let’s play and help the Ss to ask and answer according to the time.

  B. Show some pictures and times on the PPT and ask the Ss to make sentences.

  C. Check the answers together.
