Teaching procedures Step 1 Warming up & Revision 1. Greet the class. 2. Count the numbers from 1—60 by Chain game. ( T & Ss) 3. Guess and say. Lead to the sentences What time is it ? 4. Show the main scene. (2 clocks for Team 1 & Team 2) & give the rules of match. (Who does well, who gets one hour.) Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1. Act the story out on page 11. Then T asks. T: Where is Zoom? Ss: He is in the lunch room. T: Why? Ss: He is hungry. T: Why is he hungry? What time is it? Lead to the sentence What time is it? Board it and repeat. 2. Show a clock. And lead the short hand to 1 o’clock and ask what time is it? It’s one o’clock. Practice the question and answer by changing the different times. | ||
