Teaching procedures

Step 1  Warming up & Revision

1. Greet the class.

2. Clap hands & chant Go to the living room, watch TV.

3. Show the main scene (2 schools for Team 1 & Team 2) & give the rules of match. (Who does well, who gets one room of the school.)

Step 2  Presentation & Practice

1. Welcome the Ss back to school. Show the PPT on the screen. And says What’s in the classroom? Ss answer with the picture.

2. Show the teachers’ office flash and T says How many … are there? Elicit the answer There are 6. Practise the word two by two. Guide the Ss to think about what we should do when we go to the teachers’ office? Let’s go to the teachers’ office. Say hello.

3. Set the situation. T: Look, they’re many books on the desk. Where do we have more books? In the …. (A library flash.)
