Story Time 教学设计
一、教学目标
知识目标
通过复习,能够熟练掌握和运用本单元的短语或单词play football, make a model plane, make a snowman, fly a kite, ride a bike和swim,与本单元主要句型: Can you...? Yes, I can. No, I can’t.
能力目标
1. 能够借助录音、图片、文字和教师的讲解读懂本单元的小故事,并能在教师帮助下尝试表演故事。
2. 能够通过学习新故事,尝试创编一个类似的新故事,运用所学过的单词或单词。
情感目标
通过学习企鹅的故事,能够明白不应该用自己的优点和他人的缺点相比,我们要更多的去发现别人身上的优点。
二、教学重点
能够借助录音、图片、文字和教师的讲解读懂本单元的小故事,并能在教师帮助下尝试表演故事。
三、教学难点

四、学情分析
二年级的学生有了一年半的学习经历和学习基础,通过上学期的学习,我们学习了简单的活动词组,使本节课的学习有了一定的基础,而且二年级的学生特别热爱表演,本节课的学习可以使学生更加热爱英语,增加对英语的兴趣。

Step One: Warm-up (1min)
Play the song on the computer: Can you play football?
Listen and sing the song of this unit
通过本歌曲激发学生的学习主动性,调动学生的学习兴趣。
Step Two: Revision(4min)
1. whack-a-mole (打地鼠)
2. Ask students to do group work to practice the sentences.
Teacher sets an example with some students.
Read out the phrases or words as quickly as you can to pat the rat into the hole.
Work in groups and do actions to practice the sentences.
游戏可以是学生在玩的过程中将本单元所学的词组和短语进行复习。小组活动使学生对句型进行巩固,动作表演为学生故事表演做铺垫。
Step Three: Presentation(10min)
1. Lead in the main characters.
T: Look! Angel, Lucky and the monkey are happy. But the penguin is not happy. Why?
Play the video and find the answer.
2. Explain the story in details and find the moral education in the story.
Watch the video and find out why the penguin is not happy.
Listen carefully and try to think about “What else can the penguin do?”
引出故事主人公,并利用问题导出整个故事。仔细分析故事,发散学生思维,想一想,并找出更多企鹅可以做的事情。

1. Watch the cartoon and repeat.
2. Work in groups and try to read the story in groups.
3. Act out the story in groups and pay attention to add more actions while acting.
