Step1 Warming-up

【设计意图】播放与课文内容相关的歌曲,既营造了课堂气氛,又复习巩固了上节课所学的内容。
3. Free talk:
T: I like spring. It’s warm in spring. What season do you like?

【设计意图】教师通过Free talk与学生复习已学过的单词和句型,适时渗透当要学的生词,渗透过程中加上表情和动作帮助学生理解,但不做进一步的解释,目的是为下面的新知识教学做好铺垫。
Step2 Presentation
1. Leading-in.
教师出示课文情境图并通过谈话“Look at these pictures. Our friends are talking about the seasons, too. They want to know What’s the weather like in each season ?”导入新课。
【设计意图】根据谈话内容,自然地导入新课,使学生的思维自然地进入到课堂学习气氛中。
2. Learn the text.
(1)T: What’s the weather like in each season?
Watch and fill in the blanks.

Learn the word: warm, hot, cool(课件出示“room→school→cool”), cold(课件出示“old→cold”).
