A. It’s Sports Day soon. Mr Li, the PE teacher, is talking to the students. Listen, look and say.
Presentation
1. Tell the pupils It’s Sports Day soon. Ask them What can you do at Sports Day? Demonstrate some of the activities and ask the pupils to recall vocabulary they know for the actions, e.g. run, jump, etc.
2. Demonstrate new items of vocabulary and write the names of the activities on the board. Ask the pupils to stand up and do the actions when I point to one of the words/phrases on the board.
