Unit 2 Task P26-29
Writing a letter
about the Tower of London
制作者:桂东一中 李宇平
This section consists of a series of activities which provide us students with opportunities to learn and practise the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. It is divided into three steps and each step is preceded with a skills building activity.
By going through the three steps we will learn how to listen for discourse markers(语篇标记;话语标记), how to stress(重读) syllables [ˈsiləblz](音节) and words, as well as how to write informally about a formal topic. We are expected to apply these skills practically by writing a letter about the Tower of London.
