We are expected to read two passages, one is about protecting the Yangtze ['jæŋzɪ] River, the other is about climate change and a way of life-a low-carbon life. These samples are used to show us how to write a report. We are expected to write a report about other things that China is doing to protect the environment. The purpose of this section is to encourage us to use what we have learnt to complete a project. In the course of doing the project, we will learn how to plan and do the research for the report. We are expected to cooperate and complete each part of the work together. Just like most other countries, China faces serious environmental problems.
