When is your birthday, Linda? （1）when是疑问副词，意为“什么时候；何时”，常见结构为 “When + be/助动词 +主语(+其他)?” 用来询问时间，既可询问某个时段或时刻，也可询问具体的日期。 eg：My birthday is on May 2nd. （2）May 2nd（5月2日）是日期的表达法。表达具体日期通常为“月份+序数词”，月份为专有名词，首字母必须大写、书写时日期可以是序数词，也可以是基数词。 eg： 6月8日   June 8th 或 June 8                 8月3日  August 3rd  或 August 3 （3）英语中表示具体年、月、日的方式通常有两种：“月 + 日 + 年”或“日 +月 + 年”。年份要用逗号隔开。 eg：          2015年9月9日 ——September 9th, 2015          9th September, 2015 2.
