A: Do you often have many friends?(你有很多朋友吗?)
B: Of course. Sometimes when I have a hard time to make decision, I will turn to my best friend. (当然了。有的时候当我很难做决定的时候,我会向我的好朋友寻求帮助。)
A: Have you ever helped your friends to decide something?(你有没有曾经帮助过你的朋友做出决定呢?)
B: I have made a decision that let my friend give up piano lessons.(我曾经帮助我的朋友下决心放弃他的钢琴课。)
A: Is there any story behind it? (这后面有什么故事吗?)
B: He doesn’t like piano but his parents who are piano teachers want him to pass the family honor.(我的朋友不喜欢钢琴,但是他的父母是钢琴教师,想让他延续家庭荣耀。)
A: What did you do? (你做了什么事情呢?)
B: I encouraged him to talk with his parents. Though reluctant, they finally accepted his decision. (我鼓励他和父母谈一谈,虽然不情愿,他的父母还是接受了他的决定。)
A: How is your friend now? (你的朋友现在怎么样?)
B: He is happy. He spends most of his spare time on painting.(他很开心,他花很多时间在绘画上。)
