牛津译林版高中英语选修八课件 Unit 2 Task Making an exhibition board about a composer 桂东一中　李宇平 This section consists of a series of activities which provide students with the opportunity to practise our listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The Task is divided into three steps and each step is preceded with a skills building activity. ,each of which Through the three steps, we will learn how to listen for facts about people, how to find out about people's lives and how to write someone's life story. We are expected to write a biography of a famous composer. Skills building 1: listening for facts about people When we are listening for facts about people, there are certain things that we need to listen for. These include: A. dates when they were born and died He/she was born/died on 26 May 1962. B. places where they were born and died He/She was born/died in London, England. C. specific things that they did in their life, such as when and where they go
