That’s how people in Japan are expected to greet each other. greet = to welcome or say “hello” ，是动词，意为 “迎接，和……打招呼”。 E.g. He greeted her by saying “good morning”. 他向她打招呼说 “早上好”。 She greeted me with a smile. 她向我微笑致意。 It is +adj. +for/ of sb. to do sth. “做某事对于某人来说……”it是形式主语，真正的主语是动词不定式。 3. It is important to be on time. (1)若形容词为描述不定式行为者的性格、品质的，如kind, good, nice, right, wrong, clever, careless, polite, foolish等用of sb.。例如：It's very kind of you to help me.你能帮我真好。 (2)若形容词仅仅是描述不定式的，如difficult, easy, hard, important, dangerous, possible等用for sb.。例如：It is very important for us to study English well. 学好英语对于我们来说是很重要的。 【拓展】it作形式宾语，用于： find/ think/ make/ feel it +adj. + (for sb.) to do sth. 1.
