【教学目标】
知识与技能目标:
(1)掌握There is / are…句型的肯定句.
(2)能听懂和阅读包含there be句型的介绍的简短对话和短文.
(3)能运用所学词汇和there be 句型来事物的位置.
(4)学习字母a及字母U及oo组合音在单词中的发音.
【教材分析】
本节课的目的是使学生学会使用句型"There be"和它的肯定句.再结合所学过的单词,学会利用身边的人或物用"There be"句型来问答.把所学的知识运用到实际生活中去.
【教学重难点】
1.重点:能理解并掌握句型"there be".
2.难点:理解并灵活使用"There be"句型.
【教学过程】
1.教师出示几张幻灯片或图片,复习巩固有关教室内物品的单词.

复习上节课阅读中学习的新单词.
2.完成 words and phrases部分.
Show out a picture of a classroom, beside the picture, there are some position words they have learned last class on, in, under and ask them to use the words and picture to make sentences. Teach two more new words: above and next to.
3.Lead the Ss to make dialogues like this:
A: What can you see in the classroom?
B: I can see a television.
A: How many desks are there in it?
B: There is / are ...
A: Is / Are there (any) … in the classroom?
B: Yes, there is / are. Or No, there isn't / aren't.
