Step one: Lead-in: listen to a song and fill in the missing word.

Step two :basic knowledge of the relative clause.
1. 概念:在________词和________词后出现的起修饰,限定作用的句子叫定语从句。

5.解题思路:先找_________,判断先行词在定语从句中_________,再确定适合的___________.
Step three :How to use the relative clause
一:Guess what it is according to the description
二:Join two simple sentences to make a relative clause out of them.
1. This is the film. We all like the film.

We study and make friends in this school.

Step four :difficult points in The attributive clause.
一:关系词的选择。
1). a. The reason _______he missed the speech is that he forgot the time.
b. The reason____________ he gave us was true.
2). a. I’ll never forget the day ____________we spent(度过) together .
b. I’ll remember the day________ we stayed together at that time.
解题点拨: 看引导词在定语从句中充当什么成分.
二:the use of “,”in non--restrictive attributive clause.
关注以下句子的形式(有无“,”),先行词,关系词,句意。
Jim doesn't like to ask questions that/which make his teacher angry.
译文:吉姆不喜欢问使老师生气的问题。(that/which修饰questions)
Jim doesn't like to ask questions , which makes his teacher angry.
译文:吉姆不喜欢问问题,这让老师很生气。(which修饰前面的整个句子)
大多数定语从句的先行词为某一个名词或短语, 而非限制性定语从句的先行词也可为整个_________, 此时非限制性定语从句常由 ____
