the Attributive Clause(定语从句)
1.教学内容: the Attributive Clause (定语从句)在本节课中学习定语从句的概念,及六个关系代词中四个关系代词that,which, who, whom的用法;三个关系副词中两个关系副词 where when的用法。(分析:定语从句是高一上学期的一个重点语法,学好定语从句对学生理解长难句,和写作等方面有很大的帮助。)

a. Enable the students to master the structure of the Attributive Clause.
(使学生能掌握定语从句的概念和结构)
(在复合句中,修饰某一名词或者代词用作定语的句子就叫做定语从句。被定语从句修饰的词,叫先行词。引导定语从句的关联词有:
关系代词that,which,who,whom,whose,as,关系副词where,when,why.)
b. Enable the students to master the usage of who,whom, which, that, when, where, in the Attributive Clause.
(使学生能掌握定语从句中四个关系代词that,which,who,whom和两个关系副词的用法)

全班61人,是本校的一个实验班,学生有一定的英语基础,并在初中阶段接触过少量的定语从句。

四人一小组讨论,同桌互动,师生问答活动,学生自我展示。

Step 1 discuss: what is the Attributive Clause ?(5分钟)
(讨论:什么是定语从句?)
步骤目标:
学生以讨论的形式,通过初中所接触的简单定语从句用自己的语言正确归纳描述出定语从句的特征,形成有关定语从句的正确概念。
Step 2 拆,合句子小游戏。(8分钟)
(1) 把一个定语从句拆成两个单句。
例如He is the professor who wrote the new book.
拆分后(1) he is the professor.
(2) the professor wrote the new book.
(2) 把两个单句合并成一个定语从句。
例如1 The woman is a teacher.
2 The woman lives next door.
合并后The woman who lives next door is a teacher.
步骤目标:学生通过拆分,合并定语从句,对定语从句的结构有进一步的认识。
Step 3 幻灯片展示例句,通过例句让学生观察以四人一个小组的形式讨论归纳出只能用that和只能用which的情况,及who ,whom的用法。练习如下:
